Hey! This is Paul Taylor. He’s our illustrator (that means he draws us). He does a great job of making us look adorable, which we are, and Hartwood Hollow look super pretty, which it is! We are so glad Clancy found Paul because not everyone could have captured our likenesses as well as he has. Yeah, Clancy met Paul through a friend of a friend (Thanks, Karen!).

Paul began his big adventure outside Columbus, Ohio in the small country village of Sunbury. I’ll just bet it was pretty like our Hollow and that’s why he can draw Hartwood so well.

I’ll bet you’re right Ronnie. Did you know Paul grew up on a working Christmas tree farm? That’s probably where he came to appreciate the natural world. When he wasn’t roaming the fields and farms, he often relished the worlds that awaited him with his most cherished items: his pencil and some blank paper. Paul now cherishes the many adventures he shares with his wife Leslie and their two children, Tabitha and Ethan. Paul has a great imagination and says they live somewhere between this world and the world of ‘make-believe’, but they really live in sunny Orlando, Florida.
